For this week’s #MeetTheTeamMonday, we are changing the format. We asked our newest hire—scheduling coordinator Keirstyn Mooer—to tell us a little about herself. Here is the note she shared:
My name is Keirstyn. I am the new Scheduling Coordinator and part-time Caregiver at Midwest Family Care.
My husband and I recently moved to the Madison area with our four fur babies. I have worked in retail management for the past eight years, but my heart is in the caregiving/medical field. I grew up helping my mother and my sister care for my niece with Autism, my aunt with Cerebral Palsy, and my elderly grandmother.
I plan on going back to school in the spring/summer to pursue a nursing degree or a degree in Behavioral Therapy. My time with Midwest Family Care between now and then will help me decide what the right path is for me.
I am very grateful for this opportunity with Midwest Family Care. Being able to make an impact in other people’s lives has made a huge impact on mine, and I can’t wait to continue this journey!
